My Review
As I said in my review for Book 1, I DO NOT SUPPORT abusive relationships! If you'd like to see that review CLICK HERE ... Now that that is out of the way, lets talk about book 2. It was SO MUCH BETTER than book 1. The "Inner Goddess" doesn't make an appearance as much, which I was grateful for.
Aside from the horrible writing (it improves a tad), this book has really become a guilty pleasure. It's like reading a soap opera for me, and I read it in one day. Yea, I'm not even embarassed (I probably should be).
Christian really has quite a few breakthroughs in this book. And Ana is such a wonderful loyal and selfless person to help him overcome his darkest places. She really is the light in his life. She loves him, and he loves her. It takes them a few fights and disagreements to really see what they mean to each other. There is a few plot twists and it's fun to read through. The focus isn't on the sex, although there still are some steamy scenes, it didn't overshadow the story.
I'm going to continue with the series, because to be honest, this one did get better and I want to see how their love story and their journey ends. From the title of the third book, it really seems that this couple will have worked through all their issues and start a great life together.
I don't want to give too much away, but check it out. It's worth it. Guilty pleasure for sure.
