Synopsis

When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees.

Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past.

Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

My Review

As I said in my review for Book 1 and 2, I DO NOT SUPPORT abusive relationships! This last book in the series really uncovers some of Christian's mental health issues and explains everything about why he chose that BDSM lifestyle and why he's leaving it behind and starting his new life with Anastasia.

You really being to understand Christian's early childhood and how it affects him as an adult. Yes, you still get sex, and steamy arguments but it uncovers so much more than you think. You almost want to hug him and you are so happy that he found Ana, she really is a pillar in his life.

The first 1/2 of the book was still bad writing, but the plot twist is AWESOME. I described this book as a guilty pleasure and it really is. Totally reminded me of a soap opera, you just can't look away. I cried, I mean this book actually made me cry. It was great. I gave it 4/5 stars because, the writing could have been better and the beginning of the book could have had more substance, but the plot twist really got me. I enjoyed this one very much. So it did get better as all those reviews I saw promised. Give it chance.

Lots of people struggle with mental health issues, and this brings light to how those issues can affect you sexually and in your relationships. Yes, it is dramatized and sexed up, but if you're mature enough to see past that you really get the message clearly.
