I really enjoyed this book, I also enjoyed the movie. I was so pleased with the friendship of Kim and Mia. They seemed to have a connection that no one else really understood. They got each other and they trusted each other. This pair totally reminded me of some friendships I had growing up, just fun and loving and trusting.
I am an adult, so grown up friendships appeal to me more so than high school ones that just bring up old memories, which is fun. However, Tiffany and Pat from Silver Linings Playbook are freaking awesome. They keep it real at all times, which is something I totally appreciate about them and I know I'd have a blast being their friend.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower Charlie, Sam and Patrick are exactly what me and my friends were my senior year of high school. Whimsical, honest, and true to ourselves. It was such a fun time for me. Reading about Charlie really made me feel like we'd be best friends, they are just my kind of people. Beautiful.
Ahh... Katniss, Peeta and Gale. One word describes them. LOYALTY! and who wouldn't want people like that to be friends with? They are trustworthy and beautifully flawed. I know its a love triangle but I'd like to think if I were a part of the group it wouldn't be so dramatic.
The Lunar Chronicles. I found this fan art online and I just fell in love with it. It's exactly how I'd picture Cinder, Scarlet and Cress. They are just a bunch of kick ass girls, doing some pretty kick ass things. I love re-tellings and it would be so cool to go along on adventures with these 3. Can't wait to read winter!
