The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
I'm super late to the party with this series. I already finished this book, I flew through it and I've started Catching Fire. I am freaking LOVING it, obviously I knew I would, who doesn't? Anyway this story follows Katniss, a girl from District 12 who volunteers to go to the Hunger Games in place of her little sister Prim. You watch her struggle not only but survival, but love and she really is a kick ass protagonist. I loved the whole thing. I'll post a separate review.
My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares
I'm not too sure what I think about this book. I started it and it's just taking me so long to get into it. It's about Daniel, and he has "the memory" which means he can remember his past lives, and he's reincarnated many times, and along the way he keeps falling in love with the same girl. You follow him throughout his past lives and the current Sophia, who is Lucy today. It's hard to follow, I'm about 30% done. Hope it really gets me at the end.
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
I'm about 4 chapters in right now and I'm already lost in this story. It picks up right before the Victors are set to go on tour. I'm not going to spoil anything, but this one starts off with a twist, and I love it. I'm enjoying it so far.
Saga, Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples
EVERYONE is reading these graphic novels. I have got to see what all the hype is about for myself. I hear its very graphic, and very good. I can't wait to see what I think about it.
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
So I saw this book, and I've seen this movie. It's one of my favorites. I had no idea until recently that it was a book. A small, cute little thing that I just have to read. I hope I like it as much as I liked the movie. We shall see.
