BOOK REVIEW | SAGA: VOLUME 1: ISSUES 1-6 BY BRIAN K. VAUGHAN

"Once upon a time, each of us was somebody's kid. Everyone had a father, even if he never provided anything more than his seed. Everyone had a mother, even if she had to leave us on a stranger's doorstep. No matter how we're eventually raised, all of our stories begin the exact same way.
They all end the same, too."

My Review
Seriously! This shit is epic. I loved it so much. I only rated it 4 stars because it's the introduction to this amazing story, I know its going to get better! I'm so freaking excited to read the rest of the volumes in this story.

Alana and Marko have done something no one thought was possible. They were fighting for opposite sides, they fell in love and they made a baby! On the run, they are trying to find a safe place for their new family. Its raunchy and real. I mean, yea... we're talking about different species and them making babies and there's a bunch of weird things that happen... but to be honest, even though I've never read anything like this, it had me at the first scene. It's beautiful.

The artwork is AMAZING. Fiona staples is so talented. Brian K. Vaughan made a graphic novel that just grabs you from the first sentence. I read or saw someone saying in a review that Brian made this graphic novel series so graphic because he wanted it to never be able to be made into a movie, or T.V series. He did that on the first page!

This is my first graphic novel ever... a new love has begun. If you're an adult... PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT! You will NOT regret it.

This story is VERY GRAPHIC! I would only recommend it if you're over the age of 18.
