My Review
Cinder, a cyborg. Stuck between human and machine. Society treats them like slaves and yet they still have feelings and you can't help but hope Cinder doesn't give up the fight. She struggles with choices with love and loyalty. Prince Kai throws her a curve ball and this plague that is destroying her city sheds some light on herself, her past and her future. This story is epic, the world is tragic. I enjoyed reading through Cinder's story and as she discovers her abilities and strengths.
I really loved this book. This was a 3.5/5 stars for me. The story was great, I think I just had the original Cinderella in my head too much to really enjoy what this story had to offer. There were moments I absolutely loved. The interaction between Cinder and Prince Kai was great... there are a few moments between them I didn't care for. Cinder came off as rude and I didn't really like it. Her character overall was great. You really felt for her and the situation she was in. The end of the book was amazing. It really had me wanting more. I flew through the last 100 pages.
I'm very excited for the next book. The end of Cinder really had me on the edge of my seat. I'm so happy I already own Scarlet. Going to jump into that right away. I think this is going to end up being one of my favorite series for sure!
