SYNOPSIS
It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.
Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.
MY REVIEW
This book is written in Adam's perspective, which I love. You follow him through his anxiety filled day where he just pops meds and disconnects himself from everything. His heart is broken. Mia left. And it's killing him. I don't want to give too much away because well, you gotta read for yourself how it all goes down.
You feel the loss, Mia isn't the only one who lost her loved ones. Adam was connected to her family in a special way. He loved them too. But who was there for him when he was mourning? It wasn't Mia. It took them so long and one day he runs into her and they spend the night avoiding things and then addressing things. It's as much of a roller coaster as the first book.
If your read book one... you're going to NEED to know what happens next so... yea. It's beautiful. I thought it was even better than the first.
