TBR | JUNE 2015

SUMMER TIME IS HERE! And I've chosen the most un-summery reads. Lately I've been a little stressed out in my personal life that reading hasn't been super appealing to me. I totally failed last month with my TBR so this month I'm only going to choose 3 books in hopes that I can reach my goal and maybe even exceed it. I hope you all have a great reading month and I'll be snooping around the blogs and vlogs to watch and read reviews. Happy Reading!

The Diviners
Up first we have The Diviners by Libba Bray. This novel is set in my favorite era... the 1920's in New York City. It's a ghost story and from what I know it has some demons as well. I'm in the mood to be spooked and I feel like this book is just the one to get the job done. It's the first in a the Diviners Series, and I'm excited to find out exactly what a "Diviner" is.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
I am currently reading Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn. I saw the movie, it's one of my all time favorites. And in a way I'm glad I saw the movie first. Kat Dennings is probably my favorite actress so picturing her as Norah in the book is AWESOME! I'm a little ways through and this story is told is 2 perspectives, Nick and Norah's (duh). It's bascially about some prep school teenagers in New York's music scene. Nick is dealing the the worst break up ever (eye roll) and Norah is figuring some stuff out about herself and her future. They find eachother and their night begins. It's a short and sweet story. Can't wait to finish it.

A Storm of Swords
The third installment of A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. I started out this series really wondering if I was going to be able to follow the gigantic list of characters, and oddly enough it is not as hard as I thought. Each character really has a distinct voice and it is not hard to follow each of the many story lines. I'm really looking forward to where this series is going. It always seems to shock me.
