TBR | NOVEMBER 2014

I've unintentionally got a red color scheme going on for my November TBR. I chose these books because, well... I haven't read them and I wanted some variety this month. Hopefully I can get through them all. I have some time off work coming around Thanksgiving, so lots of reading time for me this month. San Diego is starting to cool down a bit, so I'm excited to spend time indoors catching up on some reading.

First up... Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick. I'm reading this for the Book Club I host. Its our 3rd month and I wanted a little bit of a change, we've been reading some pretty light books until now. This story follows a man on his birthday, and on that day he plans to kill himself and his former best friend. This story takes you through that day as he says good bye to everyone. Not sure what to expect from this one. I know its kind of a heavy subject, I'm prepared for that.

I have heard nothing but great things about the Lunar Chronicles. One of my favorite kinds of books to read are fairytale retellings. I know this one has something to do with a woman, a bionic foot and Cinderella. YES PLEASE. I think this is the one I'm most excited about.

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer

I know this story has to do about a girl, her father and books! I know there's magic involved and I'm excited. It looks like a long book, but I hope there's lots of adventure. It is a middle grade book, so hopefully my daughter and I can read this together.

Inkheart (Inkworld #1) by Cornelia Funke

I was doing the Twilight Read-A-Long on Good Reads, got behind... BUT I started and I want to finish the series. It's one of my favorite series, not because it's such good quality or the story, but because it's the first series I've actually completed. It was an accomplishment for me. I mean, these books are long!

New Moon (Twilight #3) by Stephanie Meyer

This one is a little different from the others on my TBR for this month. Which is exactly what I was going for. I love a good story and a good love story too. This one seems to be amazing, it has a movie out and everything. Obviously I have to read the book before I watch the movie.

If I Stay (If I Stay #1) by Gayle Foreman

Those are my choices for this month. I'm trying to get through the last Harry Potter book as well. But I think I'm going to save that for December since I have lots of vacation time that month and that book is a monster! Hope everyone has a great reading month. XOXO
